It is said “You are only as old as the last time you changed your mind.” The liquid in this can will do just that. On the spectrum between genius and madness, this one slithered through a wormhole of lunacy. Using 100% New Zealand hops, we embraced the onslaught of flavors provided by Nelson, Riwaka and Wakatu, then added the experimental hop NZH-104 as a foray into the great unknown. This novel variety breathes the South Island terroir and takes on a mineral character similar to your favorite NZ Sauv Blanc, balancing the bright notes of passion fruit, papaya, gooseberry and mandarin orange. Pilsner malt lends the perfect canvas for these hops to shine, and provides the firm foundation they need to stand tall. The end result exudes aroma and flavor like a tropical fruit basket (no fruits were harmed during the brewing of this beer.)

A journey shown by path unknown revealed within a dream. The way began, a lizard man, with eyes of crystalline. "Drink this," he said, poured frothy head and wandered on downstream. My mind transfixed from lizard licked as trail began to sway. Then toothy beast, the bine's dear priest, appeared a wrinkled gray. "I have for you, a cloudy brew" his countenance astray. I did my bid and blazed my lid then handed back his stein. Through haze of smoke, once more he spoke of terpene laced lupine. Upon your tongue, will hash be hung til sirens' steal your mind. Our admiration and respect for Odell Brewing goes way back, and we’re excited to unveil this new mountain-style IPA collaboration. As two members of the Hop Research Council, we decided to feature some of our favorite new public hops, HRC3 and HRC4. These magnificent varieties are available to the masses and bring bright flavors of grapefruit and lemon, backed by deep notes of cherry and raspberry. We also added a touch of the classic hops Cascade and Chinook to compliment the citrus flavors and balance transport you to the lush hop fields in autumn, one sip at a time.

The craziest of the haziest, drenched in a lake of oil.” The creation of this hazy IPA took us to unknown lands of aroma and flavor, utilizing brand hop varieties and cutting-edge hop products. We tapped the undiscovered potential of Elani, Pink, and 1019 hops, bursting with flavors of guava, watermelon, citrus, and stone fruit, backed by notes of dank herb. Then Salvo and Spectrum were introduced, two innovative hop extracts that intensify the dry hop profile without adding bitterness. The result is a pungent but amazingly drinkable brew that is sure to have your taste buds dancing through the night.

As we journey through the infinite somethingness, we discover truth & beauty, and realize that we are all family vibrating on the same plane. Wilson, formerly known as Rhombus, is like an IPA that grew up in Malibu. Citrus, tropical and pine, its sunny and breezy with a subtle malt backbone. But don’t let that laid back vibe fool you, it packs a strong hop flavor that will have you California dreaming.

Brewed in collaboration with our good friends Railroad Earth, www.railroad.earth, this beer, and the series it belongs to, are a celebration of the special relationship between beer and music. Mountain Jam vol. 8 uses Talus, Cashmere, Galaxy and Pacific Sunrise hops for flavors of tropical punch, papaya, and red fruit. The nose is a subtle combination of strawberry and coconut. This seasonal beer is a perfect accompaniment to trail blazing, chasin’ rainbows, and long walks home.

The Phlow is a sessionable, seasonal summer IPA brewed with Vista, Sabro, and Idaho Gem for a refreshingly light, and highly drinkable summer brew. This clear-ish beer has a heavy hand of oats for a full bodied mouthfeel and candied pineapple, citrus and other tropical fruit flavors and aromas that make this beer an ideal summer sipper.

Possibly the most clever beer in our lineup, Avarice & Greed walks a fine line being both supremely drinkable and high octane. Premium Pilsen malt and Belgian yeast are balanced with just enough hops for an aroma and taste that goes down deceptively easy.
