It is said “You are only as old as the last time you changed your mind.” The liquid in this can will do just that. On the spectrum between genius and madness, this one slithered through a wormhole of lunacy. Using 100% New Zealand hops, we embraced the onslaught of flavors provided by Nelson, Riwaka and Wakatu, then added the experimental hop NZH-104 as a foray into the great unknown. This novel variety breathes the South Island terroir and takes on a mineral character similar to your favorite NZ Sauv Blanc, balancing the bright notes of passion fruit, papaya, gooseberry and mandarin orange. Pilsner malt lends the perfect canvas for these hops to shine, and provides the firm foundation they need to stand tall. The end result exudes aroma and flavor like a tropical fruit basket (no fruits were harmed during the brewing of this beer.)

Our admiration and respect for Odell Brewing goes way back, and we’re excited to unveil this new mountain-style IPA collaboration. As two members of the Hop Research Council, we decided to feature some of our favorite new public hops, HRC3 and HRC4. These magnificent varieties are available to the masses and bring bright flavors of grapefruit and lemon, backed by deep notes of cherry and raspberry. We also added a touch of the classic hops Cascade and Chinook to compliment the citrus flavors and balance transport you to the lush hop fields in autumn, one sip at a time.

Brewed in collaboration with our good friends Railroad Earth, www.railroad.earth, this beer, and the series it belongs to, are a celebration of the special relationship between beer and music. Mountain Jam vol. 8 uses Talus, Cashmere, Galaxy and Pacific Sunrise hops for flavors of tropical punch, papaya, and red fruit. The nose is a subtle combination of strawberry and coconut. This seasonal beer is a perfect accompaniment to trail blazing, chasin’ rainbows, and long walks home.

What graces your palm is a quirky-kooky-kinky, cockeyed-crazy, peculiar, far-out, off-the-wall indulgence of a thing. It’s a clash between the unconventional, the untamable, the unrelenting and the undeterred; It’s frucky, freapy, greaky. It’s a weirdo with a beardo.
